Exploring the emotional shifts of movement, displacement, and belonging, Dakshayani Chippada’s practice documents solitude and the search for connection through overlooked spaces, everyday objects, and quiet narratives. Using muted earth tones, layered mark-making, and copper wire stitching, she translates inner experiences into intimate, minimal landscapes.
The featured series, Reconstructing Memory (I–VIII), is a personal journey exploring the spaces of her childhood and the homes people leave behind. Through sketching, drawing, and stitching, these works reflect how memory and emotional attachment transform over time, transitioning from color to colorless as we move through life.
