Sometimes the place we need finds us. 🤍

I had been at the beach the day before, but the waves were so strong and there was so much debris from the storm that I couldn’t really enjoy my usual peaceful time there. This morning, I still wanted that time for myself, so I changed direction and ended up here.

This was one of my mom’s favorite parks. I brought her here just a few months before she fell and everything began to change.

Sitting by the water with my coffee, wearing my bracelet that reminds me we are always Mom & Daughter, I couldn’t help but feel that maybe I ended up exactly where I was supposed to be.

Life changes. Plans change. And sometimes a change of plans brings us somewhere meaningful. The people we love may no longer be beside us in the way we wish they were, but love has a way of meeting us again—in familiar places, quiet moments, and memories that suddenly feel close.

Today, I found my peaceful moment. And somehow, I found a little piece of Mom there too. 🤍🫶🌻🦋
