I was a survivor of life's challenges. Now I’m a free-spirited woman. I am here to Inspire & to share some humor. These are my photos. 🫶🌻🦋🤍

POSTS STORIES REELS

Somewhere along the trail, I stopped carrying the whole week with me.

I couldn’t tell you exactly when it happened. My thoughts got quieter, my shoulders relaxed, and I started noticing what was around me instead of everything on my mind.

For a little while, there was nothing I needed to figure out. It felt good to leave a little lighter than I came. 🌿💛

Fresh hair, a little fresh air, and a few reasons to smile. 💛🍂

Thank you, Brittany, for making my hair look so beautiful. You’re so good at what you do, and this was something I desperately needed. I left your chair feeling refreshed, more like myself, and so alive again. 🥰

Then came a little adventure with pumpkins, ducks, and possible alien encounters. Just being silly, having fun, and remembering that grown-ups need a little playtime, too! 😂👽

And those few fall leaves on the ground? Fall is apparently making a soft entrance. One leaf here, another over there… “I’m coming, give me a minute!” 😂🍁 Honestly, I can relate.

Sometimes a little care, a change of scenery, and a good laugh help us find our spark again. Keep growing at your own pace—and give yourself permission to be silly and enjoy the moment. There’s still so much joy to be found in the small things.

You don’t need all your ducks in a row—mine are clearly doing their own thing. 🦆💛🫶🌻🦋🤍

Being a light in someone’s life doesn’t mean you have to take away their sadness, fix their struggles, or have all the answers. Sometimes, the greatest gift you can offer is simply your presence—a listening ear, a compassionate heart, a gentle reminder that they don’t have to face their darkest moments alone.

We all carry burdens that others may never see, and sometimes a little kindness, understanding, or a few comforting words can make a greater difference than we realize.

But never forget that being there for others doesn’t mean you have to carry the weight of their pain as your own. You can love deeply, give generously, and offer hope without sacrificing your own peace.

The most beautiful kind of light is the one that helps others find their way through the darkness without allowing its own flame to burn out.

So continue to lead with kindness, love with compassion, and be a gentle light wherever life takes you. Just remember to save some of that love, patience, and tenderness for yourself, too. Because your heart deserves the same kindness you so freely give to others.🫶🌻🦋🤍

May October bring you blessings that reach beyond what others can see—peace where you’ve been quietly struggling, hope where you’ve grown tired, and the reassurance that you don’t have to carry everything alone. May love find you in its simplest, truest forms, and may happiness return gently, without asking you to pretend that life is perfect. As the leaves change, may you give yourself permission to grow at your own pace, cherish what remains, and welcome the good still waiting to unfold. 💛 🫶🦋🌻🤍 #OctoberBlessings #WelcomeOctober #PeaceAndHope #GiveYourselfGrace #youarenotalone by @sweetejg

The older I get, the more I realize how much kindness matters. We never really know what someone else is carrying, and sometimes a little compassion, a listening ear, or simply showing someone you care can mean more than we realize.

I want to live my life with a kind heart, good energy, and an appreciation for the people and moments that make life beautiful. If I can leave someone feeling a little more hopeful, a little more seen, or reminded that there are still good people in this world, then I think that’s a pretty meaningful way to live.🫶🌻🦋🤍

I think what I want most right now is peace. There are so many unknowns sitting on my shoulders, and even though I know life has a way of working itself out, I’m still feeling scared, nervous, and a little unsure. I don’t need excitement right now. I don’t need all the answers. I just want a little stretch of life where nothing is changing, nothing is falling apart, and I don’t have to keep wondering what comes next. Just a little ordinary. A little boring. A little steady. A little peace. And until that comes, I’m reminding myself that I’ve made it through hard seasons before. I may not know what’s next, but I trust that I’ll find my way through it. 🫶🌻🦋🤍

Sometimes the place we need finds us. 🤍

I had been at the beach the day before, but the waves were so strong and there was so much debris from the storm that I couldn’t really enjoy my usual peaceful time there. This morning, I still wanted that time for myself, so I changed direction and ended up here.

This was one of my mom’s favorite parks. I brought her here just a few months before she fell and everything began to change.

Sitting by the water with my coffee, wearing my bracelet that reminds me we are always Mom & Daughter, I couldn’t help but feel that maybe I ended up exactly where I was supposed to be.

Life changes. Plans change. And sometimes a change of plans brings us somewhere meaningful. The people we love may no longer be beside us in the way we wish they were, but love has a way of meeting us again—in familiar places, quiet moments, and memories that suddenly feel close.

Today, I found my peaceful moment. And somehow, I found a little piece of Mom there too. 🤍🫶🌻🦋

In a world where we can be anything, let’s choose to be kind. Each act of love, no matter how small, plants seeds of joy in the hearts of others. Together, we can create a ripple of positivity that resonates far beyond our reach.🫶🤍🌻✌️🦋

Saturday was good for the soul. 🌿✨

I wandered through this beautiful little garden, found a quiet place to slow down, walked the meditation paths, and even wrote a manifestation and hung it on the tree.

A little peace, a little reflection, a little dreaming about what’s ahead… 🤍

There were little reminders everywhere — to slow down, find your balance, enjoy the moment, and remember that life really is an adventure.

And apparently the universe had a sense of humor too. 😂 I stopped at the Little Free Library and there they were: “The Persuaders” followed by “WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?”

I’m not exactly sure what the universe was trying to tell me… but message received. 😂

Sometimes you don’t need a big adventure. Just somewhere beautiful to wander, a little time with your thoughts, a squirrel passing through 🐿️, and something unexpected that makes you smile.

Good things are coming. I believe that. 🌿🤍

Maybe this chapter isn’t about finding myself anymore. Maybe it’s about finally understanding why I’m here.

I’ve lived through joy, heartbreak, trauma, and rebuilding. I’ve spent so much of my life caring for others and pushing through seasons that changed me in ways no one could always see.

Now I’m realizing none of it was wasted. Maybe purpose is revealed through everything we survive, everything we carry, and everything we rise from.

I don’t have all the answers, but I have more peace, more hope, and a deeper understanding of who I am. Maybe I’ve been becoming who I was meant to be all along. 🤍🫶🌻🦋

Sunday thought ☀️

Sometimes you have to tell your mind, “Okay, we’ve thought about that enough.” 😂

You can’t change yesterday. You can’t control everything. And you definitely don’t have to solve your entire life before Monday.

So today, I’m choosing a different thought.

Less overthinking. More gratitude.
Less guilt. More grace.
Less worrying about what I should have done, and more appreciating what I still get to do.

Sometimes changing your life starts with something as simple as changing the thought you keep replaying.

Happy Sunday. ☀️ One thought at a time. ❤️

Sometimes courage is simply taking the next step. 🌿

There were moments on this trail when I thought about turning around. I was alone, it was quiet, and my mind started filling with all the what ifs.

But I kept going.

Not because the fear disappeared, but because I didn’t want fear to decide what I was capable of experiencing.

And when I finally reached the top and saw the ocean, I was so grateful I hadn’t turned back. I stood there taking it all in—the view, the stillness, the smell of nature—and just felt grateful to be there. 🌊

Life can be a lot like that trail. We don’t always know what’s around the next turn, and sometimes fear makes us question whether we should keep going.

But we don’t have to see the whole path.

Sometimes we just have to trust ourselves enough to take the next step. 💙
