Simi Film Fest treats their filmmakers like stars!
A limo ride to the theater, followed by red carpet interviews! We’re so excited and honored to be here with all the wonderful Simi Fest folks, celebrating our nominations for Best Ensemble and Best Song Placement!
It was such a special experience getting interviewed on the red carpet about our Best Ensemble nomination alongside some of our talented cast members.
Even more special was being reunited with Michelle Michaels, after making The Slumber Party Massacre together over 40 years ago! And what a gift it has been to form such a deep friendship with Elizabeth Wu, who first walked into my acting class years ago. It’s wonderful being able to cast talented friends in a project about people coming together.
A huge bravo to Philip D’Arbanville for his courage to play an accordion player AND an LSD-tripping hippie in the movie!
Bravo to all of our brave and talented actors who helped bring our movie to the screen.
We’re so grateful to be part of the Simi Film Festival and can’t wait for our Wilma, Wu, and a stripper named Lorraine screening Tuesday night at 9 PM!
