The Scenario: “JUST LIE TO ME.” @bianca_inc says if she’s going to have to share her man, she’d rather not know. @amandasu_ says she wants the truth, even if it breaks her heart. Is that protecting your peace—or choosing to live in a lie? Would you rather KNOW or NOT KNOW? @giraffe908 @chadscotthere
I’m imagining most of us have at some point felt like our bodies or body parts were wrong. Too big/small/muscly/untoned/wobbly/soft/angular and so on. As someone who had bulimia throughout my twenties I have to constantly come back to appreciating my body for it can do rather that what it looks like. There is so much judgment when it comes to bodies and so much shame around bodies and body image for women. Even just last week a friend wanted to talk to me having been body shamed online. Comments made about women’s size (no matter what size or body shape they have) is horribly common place. Your body is not wrong. Your body is amazing. Some of you will have grown babies in that body. Some of you will have over come illness. Some of you may be healing currently. Some will hold scars from challenging times. Some will be adorned with beautiful tattoos. Some will run/dance/hug/rest. Your body is YOUR perfect body and is not up for discussion or there to be shamed. Full stop.
Ronald Acuña Jr. has more MVP Awards (1) than postseason RBls since 2020 😭😭😭😭 Ronald Acuña Jr. is one of the most electrifying players in baseball, but his lack of postseason success has become a frustrating storyline for Braves fans. During the regular season, he looks like an absolute superstar who can change a game with one swing. However, when October arrives, fans have repeatedly been left wanting more from Atlanta’s biggest star. For someone with his talent and expectations, the postseason criticism is only getting louder. What makes it even more frustrating is that Acuña has already proven he can dominate the best pitchers in baseball. His combination of power, speed, and athleticism makes him one of the most dangerous players in the league. But playoff baseball is a completely different environment, and critics believe he hasn’t consistently delivered the signature October performances that define legendary careers. The craziest part is that Acuña still has plenty of time to change the entire narrative. Nobody questions his talent or what he’s capable of accomplishing, but eventually the regular-season greatness needs to translate into unforgettable postseason moments. Braves fans want to see their superstar take over when everything is on the line, because October is where baseball legends are truly made. Follow US (@doughburrow) one of the funniest pages on IG 😭
