WHAT DO COLLEGES REALLY WANT? 👀🎓 It’s one of the questions I hear most often from parents of freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Should my student start a club? Do research? Volunteer more? Start a nonprofit? And don’t even get me started on “passion projects.” 😂 I get it. You want to help your student make the most of high school AND prepare for college. After reading tens of thousands of applications, my team and I developed a framework we call the FOUR Cs: 🧠 Curiosity 🌟 Contribution 📈 Consistency ❤️ Common Good These aren’t boxes to check. They’re qualities that can help students build meaningful experiences and ultimately tell their story authentically. And remember, there’s NO magic formula for getting into a highly selective college! The goal isn’t to build a teenager around a college application. It’s to help your teenager build a meaningful high school experience. ❤️ 🎁 Want help thinking about your student’s activities?
