Postcards from one of the best experiences of my life 😍
A South African safari has always been on my bucket list, and it’s hard to describe the raw beauty of what I’ve witnessed over the past few days. Seeing these animals up close has been surreal…the landscapes, the fresh open air, the company…it’s cleansed my soul.
We had an incredible guide in Phillip, who answered every single one of my questions with more patience than I deserved 😂 He was so generous sharing his Zulu heritage along with a lifetime of knowledge about these animals and the land they call home.
Then there’s the resort itself …. The food and service at the resort has been perfection with everything for the family to enjoy- swimming pools, kids club, restaurants and falling asleep to the sounds of the bush in the luxury tents.
Hats off to @clubmedsouthafrica for curating a one-of-a-kind experience where you can split your time between two resorts (4hrs apart). Next stop is back to the beach resort for a few days of sun and surf so stay tuned 🌊🇿🇦🏄🏽♀️

South Africa is where my maternal side of my family immigrated from. Often I think about returning to see where my ancestors lived. As a joke since I married a Lyon I say my lion family is there!😂 Out of Africa is a favorite film of mine. So happy you and kids are enjoying ❤️

Amazing!! I have a couple of questions. Which country did you go to and the photos and videos are fabulous quality. Did you just use your phone?
