Slowly my Tolkien collection grows…📚
I’ve never read the books, but the movies have a special place in my heart! I debated A LOT over the illustrated versions and this version and have slight regret in not getting the illustrated, but in the future I will have to get them 😂 I think there’s 20+ books in the Middle Earth series but I’m not sure, and if anyone knows the reading the order I’d love to know!
Also, I’ve been obsessed with bookmakers lately and when I saw these by @no0nedesigns, I knew I had to get them! They’re SO gorgeous, and the material is amazing.
💭 Has anyone read these books/movies? Or planning to? What did you think about it?

I’m always so excited seeing someone reading these for the first time. There are lots of books that take a deep dive into the development of the stories as Tolkien was very iterative in his writing. The journey through The Hobbit, The Fellowship, The Two Towers, and then The Return of the King is completely captivating, and experiencing the stories at Tolkien wrote them is life changing. Take your time and enjoy!
