Leavenworth @visitleavenworthwa is a Bavarian village in the Cascades that never packs Christmas away. My kids loved celebrating Christmas and opening presents in September. This would make a perfect Seattle day trip.
πͺ The Gingerbread Factory @gbfleavenworth - the building looks like a gingerbread house. Cookies come out warm all day.
π Kris Kringl - Christmas shop on Front Street, open every day since 1986.
π₯ Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum @nutcrackermuseum - over 9,000 nutcrackers, the largest collection in the world. Arlene Wagner started it in 1995 and still runs it at 101.
π To make it even more special, let each kid pick one thing and open it right there.
π All three are on Front Street in Leavenworth - 2.5 hrs from Seattle on Highway 2.
