🌿 Pleased to highlight the 2026 @concordiasummit Amazonas Initiative, held in Leticia, Colombia, from July 22–25. The four-day convening brought together leaders from business, government, Indigenous communities, philanthropy, academia, and civil society to foster #collaboration and advance practical, market-driven solutions for the long-term protection and sustainable development of the Amazon biome.
🌎 Through dialogue and immersive engagement in the heart of the Colombian Amazon, participants explored how biodiversity conservation can be aligned with inclusive economic opportunity, stronger local communities, and scalable investment.
🤝 Former Colombian President @ivanduquemarquez played a leading role in this year’s convening, helping focus its work on identifying sustainable investment vehicles for the Colombian Amazon. This year’s co-host was @fimasd_org, and partners and sponsors included Coca-Cola América Latina, @avianca, Abra, @onvacationoficial, and @hotelamazonoficial.
Building on previous convenings in Ecuador, Guyana, and Brazil, the Amazonas Initiative continues to be an important platform for leaders across sectors and borders to exchange ideas, establish partnerships, and support solutions grounded in the needs of the region and the people who call it home.
