🏆Proud to share that earlier this month, @greenwood.energy, our Latin American #RenewableEnergy subsidiary, won “ESG Renewable Energy Deal of the Year, Latin America” at the 2026 Infra Global ESG Awards in recognition of TERRΛ SITE I, the first phase of the TERRΛ INITIΛTIVE, a clean energy project co-developed by the Arhuaco Indigenous People and Greenwood Energy in Colombia’s Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Organized by Green Street, the Infra Global ESG Awards honor environmental, social, and governance achievements in the global energy and #infrastructure sectors.

🌱Across its three phases, TERRΛ INITIΛTIVE includes the development of solar plants connected to the national electricity grid, with a total capacity of 156 MWp, along with three new traditional Indigenous villages, designed to host more than 1,200 members of the Arhuaco People. In addition to planned technical training and skilled employment opportunities for the community, the model incorporates an Environmental Fee for every kilowatt-hour of electricity sold. The fee will support an Arhuaco-managed land acquisition fund intended to help recover more than 100,000 hectares of their ancestral territory. After 25 years of operation, the energy assets will be transferred to the community, which will then receive all revenue from electricity sales to support further land acquisition.

TERRΛ SITE I reached financial close in December 2025 with COP 163 billion (approximately $50 million) in project financing from Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN), complemented by catalytic capital from ImpactA Global, with Clifford Chance serving as legal advisor for ImpactA.

A delegation including Libra Group’s Manos Kouligkas, Mauricio Justiniano, and Aspa Mouchtouri, FDN’s Rafael Herz, ImpactA’s Antonio Garate and Susan Ward, and Clifford Chance’s Josephine Stefani attended the awards ceremony in London.

🍃The TERRΛ INITIΛTIVE is just one example of how Greenwood Energy is making clean energy accessible across Colombia, Panama, and the Dominican Republic through scalable programs that place communities and environmental conservation at the heart of each project. by @thelibragroup

Community. Humanity. Meaning.

💡Three ideas at the center of remarks delivered last month by Libra Group Executive Chairman George Logothetis at the 2026 Concordia Annual Summit in New York.

George began with a memory from childhood. At age 11, he interviewed his 85-year-old Welsh-Greek great-aunt Georgette and asked her the best year of her life. Her answer surprised him: 1940. Despite war, bombing, and extraordinary uncertainty, her reason was simple: “We were oh so united.”

Returning to that conversation decades later, George reflected on the forces that allow people to endure adversity and move forward together — and on what can happen when community, humanity, and meaning begin to erode.

In a world where children are increasingly socialized by algorithms and social media can create the illusion of connection while deepening isolation, George's message focused on agency, responsibility, and what we choose to preserve. “Perhaps it is our incessant search for meaning which gives our lives that very meaning.”

As Chair of the @concordiasummit Leadership Council, George also reflected on what makes Concordia itself an expression of these ideas: a #community bringing together people from different countries, generations, experiences, and beliefs — united by their shared #humanity, with the opportunity to create meaning from that connection.

🌎Libra Group is proud to support Concordia as its Founding Sponsor and in its mission of bringing people together across sectors, perspectives, and borders.

As George reminded us, “a life of meaning is not an easy life. But it’s a good life.”

🌿 Pleased to highlight the 2026 @concordiasummit Amazonas Initiative, held in Leticia, Colombia, from July 22–25. The four-day convening brought together leaders from business, government, Indigenous communities, philanthropy, academia, and civil society to foster #collaboration and advance practical, market-driven solutions for the long-term protection and sustainable development of the Amazon biome.

🌎 Through dialogue and immersive engagement in the heart of the Colombian Amazon, participants explored how biodiversity conservation can be aligned with inclusive economic opportunity, stronger local communities, and scalable investment.

🤝 Former Colombian President @ivanduquemarquez played a leading role in this year’s convening, helping focus its work on identifying sustainable investment vehicles for the Colombian Amazon. This year’s co-host was @fimasd_org, and partners and sponsors included Coca-Cola América Latina, @avianca, Abra, @onvacationoficial, and @hotelamazonoficial.

Building on previous convenings in Ecuador, Guyana, and Brazil, the Amazonas Initiative continues to be an important platform for leaders across sectors and borders to exchange ideas, establish partnerships, and support solutions grounded in the needs of the region and the people who call it home. As Concordia’s Founding Sponsor, Libra Group is proud of its efforts to bring diverse perspectives together, build meaningful partnerships, and advance practical solutions for one of the world’s most important ecosystems.

🏙️ Additionally, conversations around the Amazon continue at Concordia's 16th Annual Summit in NYC beginning on Monday, September 21, including a panel titled, “Smart Finance for the Amazon: Turning Natural Capital into Sustainable Prosperity,” featuring President Duque and Rob Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder of Acceso, and other announcements.

Concordia’s flagship Annual Summit, held during UNGA Week, convenes the world’s most prominent leaders to foster dialogue and enable effective partnerships for positive global impact. We look forward to participating!

🌱 Last month, our Latin American #RenewableEnergy subsidiary, @greenwood.energy, hosted 60 students from Universidad de Panamá to visit Greenwood Energy’s ɅLMɅ MɅTER solar plant as part of an academic tour organized by UP’s Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.

☀️ ɅLMɅ MɅTER is a 40MWp photovoltaic plant located in the province of Chiriquí, Panama and was developed through a public-private partnership with UP to supply 100% of the university’s energy needs, making it the first public university in Latin America to be entirely powered by renewable energy sources.

⚡ As part of the tour, students learned firsthand how a solar generation project operates and explored the relationship between renewable energy, land use, #sustainability, and #innovation.

🎓 The visit was accompanied by UP professors Eldis Barnes Molinar and Maria Herrera Quintero, and was guided by engineer Kristina Marisol Rodríguez Miranda, Senior Project Manager at Greenwood Energy.

🌎💡 Congratulations to Greenwood Energy on its efforts to advance innovative, community-first clean energy projects. We’re excited to see how opportunities like this empower and prepare future leaders in renewable energy and beyond. by @thelibragroup

🌅 Proud to share that The Duchess, a property in Thirassia operated by our Greek-born #hospitality subsidiary, @ariahotels, officially opened this summer.

The Duchess was initially announced in 2024 and has undergone extensive upgrades and renovations to prepare for its opening as a high-end, adults-only boutique hotel.

💬 Following its opening, The Duchess was featured in a @condenasttraveller review authored by Heidi Fuller-Love, who describes the hidden gem property as “11 cave-style suites with graceful domed roofs and arched interiors…modelled on the island’s traditional yposkafo cave houses. Clinging by their toes to the edge of a cliff in capital Manolas, they gaze out over the taverna-lined turquoise horseshoe curve of Korfos Bay to Santorini opposite.”

🌊 Nestled in the charming village of Manolas on #Thirassia, The Duchess offers a peaceful retreat with an infinity pool and a restaurant perched on a terrace. Guests can explore the quaint village streets and soak in the island's rich history and culture.

Condé Nast Traveller also highlights the property’s unforgettable views and tranquil atmosphere: “You’re smack bang hanging on a cliff edge opposite the caldera’s volcanic heart and the chimney of Imerovigli’s Skaros Rock. This is a slice of Santorini only without those Santorini crowds.”

The Duchess is just one property in Aria’s portfolio that features unforgettable and authentic properties across Greece and Latin America. by @thelibragroup

🚢 Pleased to share that AliciaBots, a technology startup supported by lomarlabs, the venture catalyst of Lomar Shipping, one of our #maritime subsidiaries, was recently selected as one of six recipients of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)'s Maritime Innovation and Technology (MINT) Fund. This enables AliciaBots to develop and trial its in-water robotic hull inspection and cleaning solutions right in the heart of the Port of Singapore, one of the world’s busiest ports.

🌊 MINT co-funds applied R&D, product development, and test-bedding of new technologies in the maritime sector to support more efficient and lower-emission #shipping.

AliciaBots’ technology contributes to a massive piece of the maritime #decarbonization puzzle: by keeping hulls clean, its technology reduces drag, cuts fuel consumption, and lowers emissions.

lomarlabs and AliciaBots first announced their collaboration in 2023. To date, lomarlabs has supported 10+ ventures, working closely with technology start-ups to advance maritime innovation by accelerating real-world validation and helping technologies reach critical technical and commercial milestones.

👏 We look forward to following AliciaBots as it validates its technology in one of the world’s most demanding port ecosystems and continuing to support lomarlabs and its collaborators on their shared mission to advance maritime #innovation. by @thelibragroup

👏 Pleased to share that SLI, our #aerospace subsidiary, has signed an agreement with e-Smart Group, a global air logistics platform, to provide asset finance for a fleet of up to 20 BETA TECHNOLOGIES all-electric aircraft.

🚁 The partnership represents one of the first asset leasing agreements for @beta.aircraft's zero-emission CTOL and VTOL aircraft. 🎉Libra Group has added @colombiaonecom, an English-language independent publisher and digital media outlet based in Bogotá, Colombia, as our third and newest #media subsidiary within our diversified investments portfolio.

ColombiaOne was born in 2023 from a simple but powerful idea - assembled by Anastasios P. and a group of respected Colombian journalists - to bring trustworthy, reliable Colombian news to a global, English-speaking audience. Operating with full editorial independence, the team of ~20 journalists, contributors, social media creators, and editors serves as a trusted bridge between Colombia and its diaspora worldwide.

ColombiaOne’s goal is to showcase Colombia for international audiences seeking to understand regional political, economic, social, and cultural context. 📱Between January and June 2026, ColombiaOne generated over 100 million views from their social media channels as they grow and reach new audiences.

We’re also pleased to share that Libra Group’s VP of People and Culture, María Camila Guerra López, will assume new responsibilities as the Interim CEO of ColombiaOne. Originally from Bogotá, Camila joined Libra Group in 2017 and worked out of the Group’s NYC headquarters. In 2019, she returned to Bogotá and was promoted to VP in 2023.
