Le Petit Prieuré, Paris Design Week, September 2026
On the occasion of the “CORE” exhibition presented at Paris Design Week in September 2026, @clementine___long did me the honor of presenting this work created by, for, and with her artistic practice.
The sound material comes from field recordings made while Clémentine was shaping her signature clay piece in her studio. Oscillating between raw and distorted sounds, 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴 offers a glimpse of the soundtrack for the upcoming film dedicated to her, produced by @martaprod.tv
For 50 minutes, the live creation of this sound piece took place within the exhibition space through a performance and then through its continuous playback throughout the event, accompanying visitors as they explored Clémentine’s world.

À l’occasion de l’exposition « CORE » présentée à la Paris Design Week en septembre 2026, @clementine___long m’a fait l’honneur de présenter cette création réalisée par, pour et avec sa pratique.
La matière sonore provient d’enregistrements de terrain, lors du façonnage des roues signatures de Clémentine dans son atelier. Oscillant entre sonorités brutes et déformées, Genesis offre un aperçu de la bande-son du film à venir qui lui sera dédié, produit par @martaprod.tv
Pendant 50 minutes, la création en direct de cette pièce sonore s’est inscrite dans l’espace d’exposition par la performance, puis par sa rediffusion tout au long de l’événement, accompagnant les visiteurs dans leur appréciation de l’univers de Clémentine.
