I was highly motivated to clean and tidy the house this week. But due to unexpected sun for the past two days I’ve been outside painting chairs instead. Because I can clean when it’s raining 💁🏼‍♀️
I’m so happy to get these outside maintenance chores done while it’s still warm and as a result the garden is looking great. But the house? Not so much 🫣

Halloween 🎃 is almost Here! @viejascasinoandresort @dustytherapper #dustytherapper #viejas #explorepage #halloween @dustyandbig_ @meok_marketing @dtrnewsworldwide

Two women. Two of the biggest jobs in sports media. And absolutely no waiting on the sidelines of their own careers!! This week on Aspire, I’m sitting down with @taylorrooks, host of NBA on Prime and Thursday Night Football, and @malika_andrews, Emmy-winning journalist and host of ESPN’s NBA coverage.

Between them, they’re speaking to millions of people every week and interviewing some of the biggest athletes in the world. All in an industry that was built for men!!

But what I really wanted to understand was what it took to get there. Because getting the opportunity is one thing. Earning the trust, building the reputation and proving you deserve to stay there is something else entirely.

And the more successful you become, the more people have an opinion about who you are, what you’re worth and how you should do your job. I know a thing or two about that!!

We get into:
✨ Why preparation is the foundation of real confidence
✨ How to earn trust and credibility when the stakes are high
✨ Why you have to ask for what you want instead of waiting to be chosen
✨ How to negotiate for what you’re worth without letting others define your value
✨ Why building a lasting career matters more than chasing the next big opportunity

This conversation goes SO far beyond sports. Whether you’re building a business, climbing the corporate ladder or figuring out your next move, there’s so much to learn from how these two women have backed themselves and built careers on their own terms.

Our episode is out now on @youtube, @applepodcasts, @spotify and wherever you listen!! 🎙️

Copycat 6 Ingredient Pillsbury Pumpkin Slice and Bake Cookies!! Absolutely NO eggs, no dairy (so yeah, it’s vegan 🥹🌱) yet the dough tastes a little *too* identical to that classic store-bought cookie 😅the key is using powdered sugar rather than granulated sugar to create that extra soft melt in your mouth texture that will leave you speechless that makes even the raw cookie dough taste UNREAL😮‍💨it’s everything store bought aspires to be and more!!

This is for nostalgia lovers ONLY!! You can find the full recipe on my site thebananadiaries.com or comment “PUMPKIN COOKIES” and I’ll send you the full recipe! Enjoy!!
