A PUBLIC DISCLAIMER ON MY FINAL YEAR BRETHREN (FYB) COSTUME DAY AND THAT LEGAL COSTUME ⚖️ ⚠️

You see, One of the interesting things about Final Year Week is the diversity it brings with it. Cos each day comes with its own theme, character and expression, and students get the opportunity to step outside the ordinary and have fun in whatever dimension they choose to explore.

But I think one of the craziest days of them all was that Costume/Career Day. 😆

And Unilag students with their OVERDO (which I think I like anyway 😂) So, on that costume day, we had all manner of displays and representation from both professions you recognise to characters you never expected to see, and some of them being presented in the most creative and unexpected ways made it all hilarious and exciting. And honestly, that was what made that day so interesting.

So Now, somewhere in all of that, I apparently created a small misunderstanding amongst my Online family, my village people and friends who are somehow far away. 😩😂

Cos, A few them have seen my pictures in the legal outfit and assumed I am now a lawyer—or perhaps that I studied Law and are about to hire me to represent them in court

Well..I did not o. 🫠😂

It was just a representation of a childhood dream. But now, I believe God has a different plan which eventually took me in a different direction.

Thereforeee, My legal costume was just a playful return to an earlier dream and not any indication to mislead and deceive my audience about a profession that I didn’t or, haven’t taken yet. 🤲

And yes, I am very much a proud graduate of Philosophy. 🧠🎓
