gosh! an epic day out with sister brett on wednesday! we sure packed a lot in! got the bus to bloomsbury to meet the wonderful people at #actionspace working out of the wonderful resource that is #cockpitstudios ....sister brett had worked with the delightful #sheryllcatto at the British Crafts Council decades ago so they reminisced about old times which was lovely:) more about this organization soon over on #skyestyelimit_insta
Then off to the retail / cafe district a few streets away which saw us observing a beautiful casket for a beloved father/grandfather going off to its resting place, So beautiful. The perfume shop and the cake shops oh and the stationery store all took our breaths away quite frankly! beautiful, detailed design eye was apparent everywhere. Bought sis a carousel of gorgeous perfumes, of which I immediately claimed 4:) as you do! there were the most astounding wax crayons made in egg molds and gorgeous cameo-brooch style soaps :) HAD to get some of these. Then onto #notjustashop where the innovative work of UAL design students is sold. WOW! this is so very London for me... :) then of course we had to visit the unbelievable sir john soane museum (just go!!! OMG!) with the truly amazing exhibition (upstair) of Madeline Vriesendorp ... I could live in here:) WOW! then back home to brett's at Finsbury Park for a VERY big bath, rather large gin and tonic and an epic lie down befitting an EPIC DAY ON EARTH!!
