Niʻihau Shell Classes at Native Books at Arts and Letters in collaboration with Puʻuhonua Society are back in session! Kai Hyde will be teaching on the 3rd floor through the end of October on Fridays 10am-2pm and Sundays 11-2pm. All welcome, including drop-ins.
Come when you can and stay as long as you can, no need to come at the top of the hour but come early so you have time to get into the groove.
Making new...think pendants, earrings, or lei and Kai welcomes those with lei to restore or just come to talk story about anything Niʻihau shell related.
Friday 10am-2pm and Sundays 11-2pm through the end of October. - come anytime, Kai will be there! Address is 1164 Nuʻuanu Avenue.
