Use the pen tool to go along the arm and railing to make an edge, make a big shape in the water, turn that into a selection, THEN heal and you’ll only heal inside the marching ants and can go up to the edges without effecting them! Helps a bit

100% this. I don’t care if it takes me ages and gives me a migraine. The only “benefit” of ai is it’s quick, but quick for what? What’s the fucking point? None of these modern conveniences have made life easier, they’ve made it more chaotic. And then it gives rise to “GRAB ON THE GO!” and normalising speed and never slowing down. Fuck it all. It’s all connected.

To anyone who calls this generative ai, it's not. Pretty sure it's the clone stamp tool which copies a selected region onto wherever you're painting. So it basically just draws a similar looking patch of sea as the sea around it.

To be honest, photoshop skills like this are a trade to be learned as yes AI can technically do it but in my experience it’s very finicky and often takes even longer just to get a decent result, everyone’s dream is one click perfect AI but in most cases that’s just not a thing

Ai sucks anyways, imagine spending an hour promoting and an hour on cleanup when you can just use a software and learn a skill instead, it's faster and serves you very well
