Wharton Wildcat Track & Field/Cross Country

Last weekend our boys and girls cross country teams took on Holloway Park. A difficult course, made even moreso by rain leading up to race day. Our teams battled through the mud for a 5th place finish by the boys, led by an 11th place overall finish by Derek Cook. Philip Walter also got in on the medal action with a 6th place overall finish in the JV race. Our only PR of the day (shows how tough the course was) came from Gabby Azie, who dusted her previous best by 50 seconds!!! Great job everybody! #fineblueline
