Throwback to when I worked with the Gladiators as a poster designer (for one day).
These brave New Yorkers are out here in 90 degree weather, with armor and weapons way heavier than they look, putting their full strength and effort into every fight. A lot of people don’t realize, this is a real combat sport. That said, i was struck by how genuine and inclusive their community was. Plus, they let me put on the armor and helped me shoot a fun ad. One of the sweatiest and most interesting experiences of my summer ❤️ Thanks so much for having me @gladiatorsnyc !
