Throwback to when I worked with the Gladiators as a poster designer (for one day). These brave New Yorkers are out here in 90 degree weather, with armor and weapons way heavier than they look, putting their full strength and effort into every fight. A lot of people don’t realize, this is a real combat sport. That said, i was struck by how genuine and inclusive their community was. Plus, they let me put on the armor and helped me shoot a fun ad. One of the sweatiest and most interesting experiences of my summer ❤️ Thanks so much for having me @gladiatorsnyc ! by @cool_lookin_bug

The poster I made for Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary’s podcast @videoarchivespod I watched pulp fiction twice while sketching out the rough version. The smaller scenes scattered around the border tell the story in chronological order, unlike the out-of-order way it plays out in the movie. by @cool_lookin_bug

I drew this because a 6 year old asked me to ✍️👦🏻 I planned to do this in 1 afternoon but somehow it took 20 hours total. Making these little shortform videos, I sometimes get carried away and accidentally start drawing something that challenges my illustration skills like crazy. This Godzilla slide poster was SO hard to get right. Enjoy watching me try to carve this one out the page by @cool_lookin_bug
