You don’t need someone else to decide whether your book is worthy.
Lisa DiNoto Glassner chose to self-publish and learned the whole process along the way: writing, editing, ISBN, copyright page... everything.
The result was something she could truly call her own.
No waiting for someone else to approve it.
No waiting to be picked.
She could put it into the world and let her community decide.
I think that applies to a LOT more than books.
