Nice feature @hyperallergic
Thank you!
Reposted @hyperallergic Seattle’s glass art festival returns in 2026 with a celebration of the people and places shaping our vibrant glass community. Now in its eighth year, the festival lands during a milestone moment: Seattle Glassblowing Studio marks 35 years, Pratt Fine Arts Center celebrates 50 years of creative education, and Chihuly Studio commemorates a meaningful return to Venice after three decades. These anniversaries highlight the legacy, innovation, and global impact of Seattle’s glass scene.
This year’s theme, “A Year of Celebration,” brings fresh energy to the programming. Expect art parties, live demos, special exhibits, and open studios that pull you directly into the action. From hot shop heat to behind-the-scenes access, the festival offers immersive ways to connect with artists and explore the craft.
