One year ago, we said “yes” to a wild, beautiful dream. Happy first birthday to the Root&Rise Château!

When our founder Erin first shared her vision with a few friends, we couldn’t have imagined the cross-country wave of support that would follow, from NY to Maine, Sacramento to LA, all the way to France.

Today, our 17th-century home tucked away the French countryside is exactly what we dreamed it would be. Surrounded by working farms, scenic trails, and starry night skies, it is a retreat-style summer camp for women and non-binary people to play, reconnect, create, and belong.

Whether you’re joining us for summer camp, a mission-aligned off-season retreat, or a private rental, we can’t wait to welcome you to our home.
