Large plant install: order of ops that saves a day.

Grade and drainage first. Irrigation main and laterals before the tree set — not after you’re fighting a root ball for pipe room.

Root ball handling, staking, and water-in are a sequence, not three optional extras. Miss the water-in window and you bought a callback.

Crane / access window: book it against delivery and soil conditions. One missed window turns a one-day set into a two-day scramble.

Order of ops is the day. Materials placement follows it.

💥🎆 Tchaikovsky – 1812 Overture, Op. 49 Boston Pops Orchestra – Keith Lockhart, conductor 🎼 Army cannons – fired during the concert 🪖 • In a letter to his patron Nadezhda von Meck, Tchaikovsky warned that this overture would be very noisy, written without any affection, and that for that reason it would probably lack artistic merit. The commission had come from Nikolai Rubinstein, who headed the music section of the Moscow Exhibition and wanted a new work for the event. Before starting, Tchaikovsky had told his publisher Pyotr Jurgenson that he would not lift a finger as long as nobody commissioned anything from him. To the same patron he wrote that nothing was more disagreeable to him than composing for festivities, and he told the publisher that he had started work with an inexplicable aversion. The overture premiered officially in Moscow, and Tchaikovsky himself went on to conduct it 13 times. • Listen again and notice the instant when the camera, after the soldiers, leaves the conductor and shows the stage from far away: right after, a strong, deep thud sounds, wider than the shots in the soldiers' scene, and the image shows no flash at all. • This excerpt is from the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular of July 4, 2019, at the Hatch Shell, on the banks of the Charles River in Boston, with the orchestra conducted by Keith Lockhart. The concert was broadcast live on television, and the cut ends with fireworks bursting in the dark sky. The camera alternates between the illuminated bandshell and soldiers in camouflage uniforms beside a cannon at night, and one of them raises an open hand before several shots.
