Mom, you are truly an angel. I’m so lucky Ainsley gets to grow up with your love, and I’m even luckier to still have you to call when I need you.

This past month has been a little extra tiring. Between the sleep regression, long nights and trying to keep up with everything during the day, I reached a point where I just needed my mama.

So she came 🤍

She dropped everything and came to help me, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully explain how much that meant to me.

There is something so special about becoming a mom and then watching your own mom love your baby so deeply. But there’s also something so comforting about knowing that when you’re the one who needs taking care of, your mama will still show up for you.

She took care of Ainsley with so much love and so many smiles. There wasn’t a time they weren’t smiling together. Cooking, cleaning, helping me organize the house, getting groceries, watching Milo, giving hugs, and taking care of all the little things in between. She truly took care of all of us, and I’m so grateful.

Having family far away makes you realize just how special it is to have your people close by. If you’re lucky enough to have family nearby, don’t take it for granted.

I’m so grateful for her. For the way she loves us, for the way she shows up, and for being the kind of mom I hope I can be for Ainsley 🤍
