A chicken ranch in Wineville, California. Missing boys. A terrified teenager. And a suspect who fled the country.

On September 19, 1928, Gordon Stewart Northcott was captured in Canada.
But the story of how investigators discovered what had been happening on his ranch began with Sanford Clark... and his sister Jessie.

The case became known as the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders.
