DJ P Forreal says DJing isn’t what it used to be! 🎧 During his sit-down with BowTie DJ, DJ Plugg and DJ Toneee on The Baller Alert Show, he explained that with attention spans getting shorter every year, just playing records and hyping up the crowd isn’t enough anymore. Now he says he “damn near” has to do a backflip off the DJ booth. Do you agree that DJing has changed? 👀 🎥: @Theballeralertshow

CALLING ALL RAVE HISTORIANS! 🚨🔊 Am I losing my marbles or does anyone else remember The Bucketheads – The Bomb! being played at the Haçienda around 1994/95? I have this incredibly vivid memory of the entire dancefloor waiting for what felt like an ETERNITY for that bloody drop. The tension was ridiculous, and when it finally kicked in, the place absolutely erupted! 🙌 Who the hell was DJing? Graeme Park? Tom Wainwright? Was it even 1994? It seems such a commercial tune now, but I swear I remember hearing it before it became massive. And being from Wigan, we obviously had our own lyrics. A lad called Wes used to sing “PEAS, CHIPS, PUDDING AND A PIE” instead of “These Sounds Fall Into My Mind.” 🤣🥧 And while we’re reminiscing, can we give some love to the local nightclubs? Because sometimes a Friday night out in your hometown was better than trekking into Manchester or Liverpool for the big clubs. You knew half the dancefloor, the other half knew your business, the DJ knew exactly what would get everyone going, and you could have the absolute night of your life without going anywhere glamorous. The big clubs might have made the history books, but those little local clubs made some of our best memories. So come on, Haçienda veterans and hometown ravers. Who was behind the decks that night? And which local nightclub deserves a bloody medal? 😂❤️ #TheHacienda #90sClubbing #Wigan
