DJ P Forreal says DJing isn’t what it used to be! 🎧 During his sit-down with BowTie DJ, DJ Plugg and DJ Toneee on The Baller Alert Show, he explained that with attention spans getting shorter every year, just playing records and hyping up the crowd isn’t enough anymore. Now he says he “damn near” has to do a backflip off the DJ booth. Do you agree that DJing has changed? 👀

People consume music differently. I remember going to the club with the intention of hearing songs I've never heard before. If I play a song nobody has ever heard before now, its a problem. Sometimes you can't even play the whole song because they only know the hook from TikTok. 😂

It's ridiculous. Instead of letting the song play until the 1st chorus, now all they wanna hear is the intro then transition it to another song smh

And nothing will change from these lame ass conversations. Start producing music, being more creative, and stop bitching. All yall do is complain. Stagnant ass energy. Can’t do a back flip? Might be time to sit tf down

Beyoncé Fans Were Fighting for Renaissance Tickets While a Broker Allegedly Made $833K Off One Tour Stop

Blogged by: Draggy

A ticket broker allegedly turned the final night of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour into an $833,323 payday by purchasing thousands of tickets through more than 1,300 accounts, according to a new federal lawsuit.

The Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission filed the lawsuit on October 15, 2026, accusing California-based REPS & Company Inc. and three executives of illegally bypassing ticket purchasing restrictions. Federal officials say the company used an elaborate network of accounts and technical tools to acquire Beyoncé concert tickets in quantities far beyond what individual customers were allowed to purchase.

According to the 22-page federal complaint, REPS purchased 7,624 tickets for Beyoncé’s October 1, 2023, concert at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Ticketmaster had imposed purchase limits ranging from four to eight tickets per customer. Investigators allege the broker circumvented those limits by spreading purchases across at least 1,300 accounts.

The company allegedly collected approximately $833,323 in profits after reselling those tickets. That works out to roughly $109 in resale profit per ticket, although the complaint does not identify the individual prices paid by concertgoers.

The Kansas City performance carried special significance for the Beyhive. According to KSHB 41 News, the concert marked the conclusion of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, and the singer used the occasion to announce her concert documentary, “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.”

The tour itself had already become a historic achievement. Pollstar reported that Beyoncé generated approximately $579.8 million from 56 performances, selling more than 2.77 million tickets. The production celebrated Black dance music and the cultural influence of ballroom and queer communities while establishing new commercial milestones for the superstar.

50 Cent is at it again. After news broke that Diddy was transferred out of FCI Fort Dix, 50 wasted no time reacting on Instagram. He posted the headline alongside a wild animated clip of Diddy and wrote, “Diddy on the move, he gonna turn up in this next joint on gang!” Do you think 50 will ever let up on Diddy?

Beyond The Headlines 🔎: Everybody remembers the tax case, but do you know the full story?

In 2012, Lauryn Hill pleaded guilty to failing to file federal tax returns, more than a decade after The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill made her one of the most celebrated artists in music. But the story behind the headline is more complicated than most people remember.

We’re going back to what she was actually charged with, how she framed her fight for financial control, and the question her case raised about who really gets paid when music makes millions.
This is Lauryn Hill: Beyond The Headlines.

That was quick. 👀

Katie Zacharia has been fired as White House press secretary, CNN reports, less than a week after Trump named her to replace Karoline Leavitt.

Her short run was overshadowed by questions about her legal credentials. Zacharia has long called herself an attorney, and Trump even introduced her as one. But reporters found no record of her being licensed to practice law in any U.S. state. When asked where she passed the bar, she said “when I moved to China,” even though foreigners are not allowed to take China’s bar exam. A watchdog group also filed a complaint asking the State Bar of California to investigate whether she misrepresented herself as a lawyer.

Before the news broke, Trump said the media treated her “very badly” and that he told her, “Honestly, if I were you, I would reconsider. Maybe it’s not for her.”

Thoughts?
