POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Back when I used to have @katranyc on tilt. And I believe this was a Tuesday night. City used to be lit fr. A Tuesday then was more jumping than the weekends now but hey.

Going over old footage got me wanting to get out of retirement. I feel like I got unfinished business out here. Gotta remind myself, and remind those who forgot.
Welcome to those who never knew.

Why you not popular?

Good Question

Me and Slops sit down to talk about life, music, DJ career, the party scene, FBA vs Caribbean, and much more on this episode.

Fun Fact: Slops was the first person to interview me inside of @bedstuyfly almost 15yrs ago.

I wanted to spin back for a full circle moment to give yall an update.

Either you was there or you wasn’t, but 13yrs ago, on a Wednesday, we had the city JUMPING every week w/ #TrillWednesdays (might be some evidence in that hashtag 🫣)

Often I’m complaining about NYC parties feeling and sounding like the South … but the #Trill Trap era (pre-Migos) … was a vibe, not gonna lie.
ALOT records got broke in this party.

RIP #SutraLounge
big up the whole #LES #BK … everybody who used to pop out, DJs etc.

Can’t believe 17 years went by …
this is when I first started spinning #downtown #les #nyc
This was at #HappyEndings lol … #iykyk
I really miss that spot.
Prior to this I was getting my feet wet, getting a gig here and there. I might of already did Gravity and Buzz in Brooklyn. Don’t know if Trill Wednesdays at Sutra yet, but the name was ringing. Flyer say Sound Clash but idk who SK is lol. Either way, after this I was the Champ for a minute lol 🏆 taken in Happy Ending NYC by @willgatesthedj

I ain’t gonna lie, I think this mix is one of my favorite mixes. I really took my time, researched, digged in the crates, and took it back to the essence w/ this one. #iykyk, #iydyd 🤷🏾‍♂️

I swear the 90s is my favorite era ...

Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of @twfbrucie_b live mixes & mixtapes ... in an attempt to time travel back to when #NYC was REAL. S/o the whole #Harlem #Uptown #BX, my hometown #BK ... if you was OUTSIDE during this era PUT IT IN THE COMMENT SECTION (I was too young then but I know the history)

This mix was from a night at Club2000 (s/o @uniquemeccaaudio)

Fun Fact: @bobbykonders & @realjabba also played a set this night … gonna post a snippet in my stories. taken in Brooklyn, New York by @willgatesthedj
