Master Builders ACT

If you’re involved in residential property development in the ACT, this is your reminder: from 1 October 2026, a Property Developer Licence will be compulsory for any new, existing or ongoing build.

You’ll need one if you’re:
🔸 Applying for development or building approval
🔸 Applying for a building commencement notice or certificate of occupancy
🔸 Selling or advertising residential property of the plan.

This applies to any project involving 3 or more dwellings, including alterations.

With the deadline approaching, don’t leave your application to the last minute.
