The feeling of guilt and the fear of regret are real, even for a professional stylist. If you’ve been around a while you’ll recall me styling this @destree dress a few times here on IG, but 18 months after purchase in Paris I hadn’t reached for it once in my REAL LIFE. And there’s a lesson in that too. The denim dress fabric reads ‘edgy’ but the shape and style of it leans very Parisian classic, which is not my style. Influenced by situational shopping? Definitely. Would I have bought this dress at a boutique in Melbourne? Unlikely.
