A new journey begins!

I am extremely pleased and excited to announce my Individual Grant Award for the 2026 cycle of the Youth Leadership Development Fund, supported by the Nigerian Youth Futures Fund (NYFF).

My project, “Strengthening Grassroots Governance Through Community Scorecards and Youth-Led Social Accountability in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC),” is focused on creating meaningful opportunities for young people across AMAC’s 12 wards to participate in governance and monitor local development and public service delivery.

Through community scorecards, we will document community experiences, identify service-delivery gaps, highlight positive performance, and generate evidence that can support constructive dialogue between residents and the AMAC administration.

This means a lot to me.

It is another step towards my commitment to engaging young people in governance processes at the local council level and advancing the Nigeria We Want, a Nigeria where young people are not just beneficiaries of governance, but active participants in shaping the communities they call home.

The future is ours to embrace. And building it requires our participation, our voices, and our commitment to accountability.

Stay tuned for more updates as the project unfolds across AMAC.
