i said,
“i want to learn to trust you,
but i don’t know how.”

and you said,
“then don’t. learn to trust you.
then see what your heart has to say about me,
and follow that.”

looking for the girls who want to travel but have no one to go with.. I GOT YOU 🫶🏼

I’m Sam and I’ve been hosting group trips since 2024 where we’ve gone to so many incredible countries and ticked off bucketlist things like glamping in the Sahara Desert, seeing the Big 5 in South Africa, the Northern Lights in Iceland, a world wonder in Brazil and SO much more!! 21 trips, 10 countries and 350+ girls so far!! 🤯🫶🏼

My BIGGEST priority it making sure the girls on my trip feel safe traveling!! 🤍 In 2027 I’ll be hosting trips to places like Greece, Morocco, Albania, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, China and more!! I’d love to see you there 🫶🏼

If you’re interested you can join my email list on my page (comment and I’ll send it!!) and my group trip broadcast channel on ig @ samanthacasolaro ✨

She doesn't even go here!

Being the woman who was financially supporting her husband wasn’t exactly the conventional marriage story I imagined for myself. But I wasn’t keeping score. I wanted him to become debt-free so we could finally plan our future together without the weight of medical school loans holding us back. I thought we were building something together.

I share this not because I’m ashamed of the choices I made, but because I know how easy it is to confuse being a supportive partner with carrying more than you should.

You can be independent, generous, and believe in someone’s potential without sacrificing your own financial security. Love shouldn’t require you to abandon protecting yourself.

And if you’ve ever looked back and wondered how you didn’t see the signs, please give yourself grace. You made decisions based on what you believed was true at the time. 🤍

This isn’t tea. It’s a conversation more of us need to have—especially as Desi women, when we’re often taught to protect the marriage before we protect ourselves.

You can be a good partner and still have boundaries. You can love someone and still ask questions. Both can be true.
