I had the honour and privilege of moderating our first Hatchling 2.0 @hatch_mca Masterclass, facilitated by our Group Managing Director, @udemeoufot

Mr. Udeme, Group Managing Director at @sounigeria , has served as President (1999) and Vice President (1997) of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), Chairman of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), President of the Lagos Business School Alumni Association, and Board Chair of LEAP Africa, among other notable achievements.

In 2014, he was conferred with the national honour of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) by the Federal Government of Nigeria, in recognition of his service to the nation in the corporate sector.

Learning directly from a man who has shaped Nigeria’s advertising industry for over four decades was more than a masterclass — it was a master lesson in what it takes to build a successful career.

My biggest takeaways: If you want to last, build on values, self-governance, determination, consistency, networking, and organisation.
