We recently worked with Circuit to rethink their identity across more than 50 communities around the country. Circuit provides low-cost or free local transportation, helping people get groceries, make it to doctor’s appointments, get to work, go out to dinner, or just get around their neighborhood. To date, they’ve provided more than 10 million rides.
One of the most interesting things we learned early in the project was that we weren’t only designing for the people riding Circuit. We were also designing for the cities, transportation departments, and local leaders deciding whether Circuit should be there in the first place. That shifted our thinking quite a bit. We started looking at Circuit less like a mobility startup and more like a piece of public infrastructure. Something modern and optimistic, but also familiar, dependable, and built to feel at home in every community it serves.
