COLOR. LIGHT. ATTITUDE. 📸⚡️
This set with reality TV star @iampersuaian was all about making two bold colors fight for attention that electric blue backdrop against the neon green wardrobe. No complicated location needed. The impact came from lighting, color contrast, posing, and intentional framing.
Shot on my Sony A7III, I used Godox lighting to create that clean commercial look while keeping dimension in the skin. The goal wasn’t to flatten everything with light it was to shape the face and body, preserve realistic skin texture, bring out the makeup, and let the highlights separate her dark hair from the blue background.
Then I changed the composition without changing the concept:
📸 Tight beauty shot = makeup, eyes + texture
📸 Full body = fashion + personality
📸 ¾ portrait = the balance between beauty + editorial
That’s one setup giving you multiple pieces of campaign-ready content.
One thing photography has taught me: you don’t always need more equipment you need to understand what your light is doing. 💡
