This is Nomadic’s first dress watch, and quite a departure from the rugged tool watches the Belfast-based brand is known for. I had the pleasure to spend sometime with it before its official release for which I’m grateful to @nomadic.watches Review is live on my blog. The version I have here features a lovely green dial, housed in a 316L stainless steel rectangular case with a mix of brushed and polished finishes. It measures 39.5mm across and just 8.3mm thick, with sapphire crystal and 30 metres of water resistance. Inside, this first edition is powered by the Swiss hand-wound La Joux-Perret D101 movement, beating at 3 Hz, with approximately 50 hours of power reserve. The first 200 pieces will feature this calibre, before Nomadic moves to the ETA 7001. The watch comes on an embossed crocodile-style leather strap from The Strap Tailor, with a nice taper from 20mm to 16mm. #unboxing #nomadicwatches #dresswatch
