An exceptional example of one of the most desirable configurations of the original Nautilus Jumbo.
This Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 3700/11J, manufactured in 1982, is crafted entirely in 18k yellow gold and features the iconic dark ribbed dial.
What makes the 3700/11J particularly special is its rare, narrower tapered bracelet, distinguishing it from the earlier 3700/1J. It is believed that only around 500 examples of the 3700/11J were produced, making this second-series yellow-gold Jumbo an exceptionally scarce reference.
And then there is the condition.
The watch has survived in remarkable condition, with beautiful case proportions, a tight and strong bracelet, and a wonderfully coherent, period-correct appearance throughout. Exactly the kind of condition collectors hope to find on a Nautilus that is now more than 40 years old.
