Warli art is traditionally known for its beautiful, simple and flat forms.

I’ve always loved that simplicity, but I also wanted to bring another dimension to my work — texture.

Layer by layer, texture becomes the base, and then the Warli story comes alive on top of it. This textured surface has slowly become a signature part of my work. 🤍

And this one is currently a work in progress…
I’m preparing it for my upcoming exhibition in Bangalore, in collaboration with @duarte.haus
