Part 2 of recapping Sun-baked with @elsewhere_project_ last month

The Multitudes series explored the relationship between the individual and the collective imaginary: the ideas, desires, and possible futures we may dream of when we come together. Here, the forest and field become a space of communion, where human and natural forms intertwine. The abundance of summer and its long days create a space for lingering, for gathering, wandering, and being together beyond the usual boundaries of time. From the characters backs, flowers bloom symbolizing what can emerge when individual imagination meets collective re-imagining & deconstructing.

I decided to pair Multitude I with some project mapped animated hands to give the painting a sense of aliveness, of extra surrealism and to truly showcase this multitude coming to life around us.
