What does it take to really connect with someone? Just a moment. But before our community outreach starts, we take time to show up open-minded & check our biases at the gate. Then we take any chance we get to be fully present with someone, & it can make all the difference. Those moments mean everything, & they’re why we do this work every week.

We want to be there for our neighbors, & with them, as part of a hard-working, inspiring community that genuinely cares about each other. Creating a safe community space for everybody to connect has been such an adventure. We are so inspired by the community that has joined us to help build it, representing equality at its finest. Working together has been an honor & a gift for all of us.

We’ll keep taking these moments, as many as we can, side by side with our community at “The Lot.”
