B Is For Books in Homestead is a completely FREE children’s bookstore where every child can choose 3 books to take home with them at every visit. No purchase, no admission, just books to build their home library. Not only do they support children but they truly support the mothers. They have a small adult section (also free) & With their award winning breastfeeding room that’s fully stocked , it’s obvious that they truly appreciate moms and deserve to be recognized ❤️

It felt especially fitting to share this today, September 25, as Pennsylvania recognizes Dolly Parton Day and September is National Early Literacy Month. Reading Ready Pittsburgh, which operates B Is For Books, also helps bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to local children, sending enrolled kids a free book every month.

B Is For Books is at 222 E. 8th Avenue in Homestead. Save this one ! We made a whole day out of it. The waterfront has so much to offer and this store is a must visit each time we’re in the area!
