What an awesome morning! Ran one of my favorite races, Sound the Alarm 5k in my hometown.
I really wasn’t optimistic going into this. I’m coming off an achilles and ATFL injury from my ultra 2 weeks ago. I also haven’t trained speed and I’m dealing with some allergies.
Despite that, I crushed my goal! I finished faster than last year!
I was 8th place female, 28th overall out of 111, and 3rd place in my age group!
Adam also finished 3rd in his age group and absolutely crushed his time goal. He was 29th overall!
