23 days agoDC30, Fender 5F4-A Super. Touch sensitive, you can dial in the perfect amount of compression in the power amp, simple yet perfect EQ especially when matched to the perfect speakers. You can push both amps into oblivion while still keeping so much note clarity and pick attack.
23 days agoA reissue champ 600. It’s so small and perfect for recording. My best guitar recordings ever are with that thing. No low end missing with a condenser mic right up against the cone
23 days agoDepends! For guitar i love my wife’s 68 super reverb, and for plunky vintage reverb tracks i love my earth 4x10 (heavy af)…… the tremolo on her ampeg jet II is unbeatable but my farfisa sounds best through my concord sound city (dallas arbiter)…. I know, not a guitar, but technically a guitar amp? 🤷🏻
