A cancelled meeting, a swim and a skate park. Sometimes that’s what working mum life looks like. ☀️
I got the weather wrong. We were both hot, Ari was hangry, and the day was heading towards a seven-year-old meltdown.
So I did a U-turn, cancelled my meeting and headed home so we could get changed and go for a swim.
Whoever said women can have it all left out the bit about everything happening at once. Working while travelling solo with a child means something sometimes has to give. That day, it was my meeting.
A swim, a skate park and a happy boy later, we’d turned the day around. 💙
