Week 42 of 52 WorldWide BBQ Wedenesday. Went to Cali this past weekend home of the Tri-Tip from back in the 1950s. Also called a Santa Maria or Newport Steak. Shhhh we cooked it like a med rare steak to blow their minds tho. The real secret is putting the notch on the top while trimming so you can be sure to cut against the grain for maximum tenderness. Thanks so much to Jen, Mike, Joellen and Arnold for all their help and Joel of Priest Ranch for the entertainment. Last but not least to Shawna and Chant to coming out to experience it and of course the Human Rain Delay ⚾️ and his wife Becky. 2k samples served or 100 lbs of meat in just over 3 hrs.

@utkarsha_naik took me for some Diwali shopping at Dadar (the obvious destination for all Mumbaikars! 😂), and then insisted we stop at a restaurant called “Fish Curry Rice”.

Now, imagine taking a pure vegetarian to a place with THAT name! 😂 I was a little sceptical, but turns out, she knew exactly what she was doing!

While Utkarsha ma’am enjoyed her favourite fish, @mallika453 (also a pure vegetarian) and I had an absolutely delicious vegetarian feast. Who knew Fish Curry Rice would win over two vegetarians too! ❤️

Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Darat Kementerian Perhubungan menyoroti kecelakaan maut truk molen bermuatan semen di Jalan Raya Cut Mutia, Kota Bekasi, Minggu (1/11/2026), yang menewaskan enam orang dan melukai enam lainnya.

Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Darat, Aan Suhanan, mengungkapkan hasil pemeriksaan awal menunjukkan truk bernomor polisi B 9548 MV tersebut tidak menjalani uji berkala kendaraan atau uji KIR selama enam tahun.

Sementara itu, penyebab pasti kecelakaan masih dalam proses penyelidikan oleh kepolisian, Dinas Perhubungan, serta Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi (KNKT).

Menindaklanjuti temuan tersebut, Ditjen Perhubungan Darat akan memanggil perusahaan terkait untuk meminta klarifikasi sekaligus memberikan pembinaan mengenai kewajiban uji berkala kendaraan dan penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Perusahaan Angkutan Umum (SMK PAU).

Sebelumnya, truk molen tersebut diduga kehilangan kendali hingga terguling dan menabrak kerumunan warga di sisi kiri jalan. Sebanyak 12 orang menjadi korban dalam kecelakaan maut tersebut, dengan rincian enam orang meninggal dunia dan enam lainnya mengalami luka-luka.
