It felt like summer on top of this mountain ✨
📍Anthony’s Nose Trail in Cortland Manor, New York
The summit offers views of Bear Mountain and the Bear Mountain Bridge crossing the Hudson River. It is rated as a moderate difficulty hike and is only 2.6 miles (4.18km) round trip from the base of Route 9D. The first half is a steep ascent and then it’s moderately flat to reach the summit. Some of the trail is a well maintained staircase (as pictured)!
You can park for free on Route 9D!
Also, it is a pretty popular trail so be prepared for crowds — especially on beautiful weekends in the fall! 💛
