Why should young athletes have to choose between sport and education?
That was the question at the heart of our 7th Raising An Athlete Sports Talk Series, held on Friday, 23 October at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, on Designing Schools for Athletes: Rethinking Education for the Modern Student-Athlete.
We had a wonderful evening of conversations around the realities of balancing training, competitions and exams, and what schools can do differently to support young athletes.
A big thank you to Ms Shashi Banerjee, Mr Rohit Kapoor, Ms Aakanksha Thapak and Ms Shriyanka Sadangi for sharing their experiences and perspectives so openly. And to everyone who joined us and added to the conversation, thank you for being a part of it.
