2 days agoThis is my 17 year old twin daughter, she also has dyslexia and dyscaulia. She’s currently in her final year of her A levels and always leaves everything to last minute 🙈
9 days agoYou are me 😂 I have just got my diagnosis as of last week, it took less than a month from my initial doctor's appt to the assessment with the practice from the right to choose pathway😱 couldn't get over how fast it was! X
9 days agoIn school I was always aware that my hearing impairment was why I struggled because I struggled to hear my teachers. I loved certain subjects and would do well with them but other subjects I just had no interest in them and would only try just enough to pass. I was basically an all or nothing kid in school. If I liked the subject I was all in, if I didn't I was doing just enough to pass so I didnt have to take it again and could graduate. Like math gives me a headache trying to figure it out. I talk way too much when I talk about something. What could be a 5 or 10 minute thing becomes a 30 minute thing. And texting is usually a TLDR (too long don't read) thing. I don't know how to self edit. I too need my time to decompress and wind down. Especially after doing something like going to a concert. I LOVE going to concerts but its an overload of people and I need time after before I go to bed to decompress from it. I need my alone time at night to decompress and unwind from the day and having to deal with everyone. Its partly why I like being up at night and am a night owl. This comment is probably a TLDR 😂 And if you read the whole thing, thank you.
