Airbnb hosts: your listing may now be on Amex Travel. 💳🏡
Since October 22, 2026, eligible US American Express Card Members can search and book more than one million Airbnb listings through AmexTravel.com or the Amex Travel App. Airbnb started emailing hosts this week to let them know their homes are included.
What to know:
1️⃣ Guests search on Amex Travel, then link their Amex and Airbnb accounts and book on Airbnb
2️⃣ Your prices, payouts, house rules and cancellation policy stay the same
3️⃣ You manage the reservation and messages on Airbnb as usual, and AirCover for Hosts still applies
4️⃣ Card Members earn Membership Rewards points on prepaid stays (5X on Platinum, 2X on most other eligible cards), and Platinum members can apply their $600 Lodging Credit to eligible Airbnb Luxe stays of 2+ nights
How to make it count:
✅ Open up your calendar. Airbnb itself recommends adding availability
✅ Lead your title and first photos with what travelers search for: pool, workspace, parking, space for groups
✅ Keep your reviews and response rate strong, since these guests are comparing you against hotels in the same portal
